Healthy Weight Loss - Why young Americans are struggling to make healthy choices?

Rates of overweight adolescents has tripled over the last 20 years in the United States. Today it is estimated that more than twenty percent of young Americans are overweight and have problems with healthy weight loss programs. This growing epidemic has caused a lot of new research. The problems are perceived primarily in interpersonal, social and psychological effects of weight gain or severe obesity (100 # or more above ideal body weight) in young people. Healthy choices make a commitment and support of family and friends.

Diabetes, hypertension and other chronic diseases related to obesity are more common among young people. Indulgent lifestyles, poor eating habits and inactivity are reported to contribute to weight gain and obesity among young people.

This leads to stress and young people often use food around as a comfort. They also tend to suffer a setback in their food choices when they suffered a setback in his social life or work.
