Touch Surefire to make 2017 your best year

Touch Surefire to make 2017 your best year

Empty the silly tradition of making a set of New Year's resolutions that make you feel like a year-end failure when things do not go according to plan. Instead of putting an endless list of high ambitions, why not take some simple and realistic steps to improve your life significantly in 2017?

Are you ready? I certainly am! I am willing to go ahead and make the most of the next 361 days, 8,664 hours of precious time that I will never be able to return. I am ready to continue on the spiritual path. I am ready to set new goals and create achievable steps to achieve them. I'm ready for new adventures. I am ready to make my body healthier and stronger.

Do you want to join me? Here are five simple but effective ways we can all make 2017 an incredible year:

Reflect and learn

Before jumping into the New Year, take a moment to think about what worked and did not work for you last year. What are the highlights? Low points? What are the successes and failures? What made you feel happy and happy? What made you so miserable? What life lessons have you learned that you can have in 2017? What changes do you need to make this year better?

Focus on the present

Well, now that I've looked at last year, it's time to move on. Forgive and leave any irritation or dissatisfaction that you still endure more than last year. Solution to learn from your mistakes and move forward. Make the necessary changes to eliminate everything that makes you miserable. Take the time to be grateful for all the goodies 2016 gives you. Then focus on the present. When you wake up in the morning, ask yourself, what will bring me joy and make my day great? Then do your best to make sure this happens. At the end of the day, ask yourself, what could have made me the best day? Then make the necessary adjustments. This daily practice will help you create the life you want to live. Another way to live in the present time is to try and appreciate, and play in seemingly small ordinary moments that make it a special day. Did you feel the heat of the sun on your face or enjoy the refreshing odor after a rainstorm today? Have you heard a bird sing your heart or enjoy the laughter of a child? Have you received a compliment at work or have a stranger said or done something? Did you like hugging a big one? Observe and appreciate every moment.

Write goals that can be achieved

According to studies, about half of Americans make New Year's resolutions, but less than 10 percent of people make these decisions. I am not a believer in New Year's resolutions that tend to be overwhelming and unrealistic. However, I think it helps to write some specific and realistic newspaper objectives throughout the year and regularly review. Doing this will help you remember what you want out of life and set priorities. It may include spiritual goals, health goals, professional goals or personal goals. So you will not feel overwhelmed, list no more than three at a time in terms of importance. Be sure to achieve the goals. Next, write down the small steps you need to take to achieve those goals. Concentrate on one goal at a time and give yourself timelines - as a writer I know this works. Celebrate milestones along the way. Do not give up too easily and believe in yourself. Start now. Think of a particular goal you want to achieve this year. Well, now, what can you do today, right now, to work towards your goal? No excuses - just do it!

Make your body stronger one month at a time

Losing weight and going to the gym are popular New Year's resolutions that often fail at the time it hits February and excites the thrill. Why not take a different path? Instead of committing to losing 20 pounds at the beginning of the year, make a goal to do a simple thing every month of 2017 to make your body healthier. Do you need some ideas? In January, a friend found a workout. In February, walk 100 more steps every day. In March, drink less alcohol and more water. In April, sleep more. In May, eliminate sugar from your diet. In June, sit down and stand up more. In June, explore a new hiking trail. In July, touch your toes every day. In August, try a new sport or training. In September, download the free fitness app. In October, eat less meat and more vegetables. In November, try a new healthy recipe each week. In December, take your daily time and practice deep breathing. You can use these goals or form your own list. The idea is to practice every goal for a month to do
