7 Powerful Inspirational Scriptures For Christian Weight Loss
Renewing your mind is a key concept in the Christian weight loss. One of the reasons people fail at weight loss is trying to build new behaviors on top of an old way of thinking. Sooner or later, your old mentality convince you to quit smoking and end in the same way as before, or worse. Meditating on Scripture is consistently so that you can renew your mind to God's ultimate goal for your life that will help you make better decisions in all areas, including health.
Here are some scriptures that I used to renew my mind when I began my own journey of weight loss of 85 pounds and applied the principles of weight loss in my Christian life:
Psalm 107: 9: "For He satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul He has filled with what is good."
Isaiah 40:31: ". Those who hope in the Lord will soar on wings like eagles, they run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint"
Romans 2:17 p.m.: "... for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."
2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new. "
Philippians 1: 6 "For I am convinced that he who began a good work in you will complete the day of Jesus Christ"
Hebrews 24:11: "All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness."
3 John 1: 2 "Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prosper"
Even before starting his own journey of weight loss, begin to meditate on the scriptures above this key to weight loss Christian principle in practice. In your prayer time, ask God to show you how to apply this knowledge to their daily lives. I recommend you write these entries on the cards and check regularly throughout the day. Keep to keep in mind.
When you renew your spirit and practice healthy habits regularly, you will experience more peace and balance in your life and achieve your ideal weight.
