What is the Best Ab workout to lose belly fat?


The answer to the old question of "What is the best ab workout for losing belly fat?" It is ...

No One! Ab workouts alone do not create enough of a metabolic response of your body to create fat loss.

As a coach, nutritionist and fitness professional, I am often asked what the best types of exercises and workouts are for losing stubborn stomach fat to perform perfect visible abs. The problem is that most people with fat in the stomach looking to try to uncover their abs searching for some "miracle abdominal workout" that is to cut the fat from your abs in no time.

The thing is ... go about the problem entirely the wrong way! The truth is that stomach fat is lost during abdominal exercises.

The problem is that most of their time and effort on abdominal exercises and abdominal exercises to try to flatten your stomach and bring out six-pack abs while focus is simply wasting to make the right exercise programs that reduce acutally fat from your body forever.

If I had to choose an answer as to what are the best exercises to lose belly fat, my answer would include full body exercises like these:

various forms of squats, lunges, deadlifts, clean and presses, snatches, swings, presses and pulls, mountain climbers, sprinting, etc.

These types of physical exercises would include a much higher percentage of training I see the abs exercises instead target the midsection directly. How to combine the full body exercises into a strategic workout that maximizes your metabolism is also very important.



Do not get me wrong ... I recommend a number of exercises that directly target the abs and core, but it is only a small fraction of the programs I design for my clients that your time is better spent focusing on whole body exercises that stimulate the greatest hormonal and metabolic changes in the body. Also, a side effect of working with multi-joint exercises are combined body mostly full indirectly you work all your abdomen but not specifically targeting the abs.

Note that the most important for losing belly fat to see your abs is actually the factor in the field of nutrition. No matter how much you exercise, if your diet is full of junk, then your abs will be covered with ugly fat. Nutrition is undoubtedly the "king of getting a six pack."

So let's clear this for good ...

Stop wasting much of their time focusing on squats, crunches, leg raises, and all these useless idiots "ab gadgets" in their efforts to try to develop six-pack abs. Instead of focusing on high intensity full body lifts using the combination of all strategically combined loss workouts multi-joint exercises very effective fat. Add to that a healthy diet full of natural unprocessed whole foods as close to their natural state as possible, those elusive six pack abs will be yours in no time!
