Obesity rates are at their highest points in India. Nearly one in ten in India is obese. This led to the sudden popularity of crash diets and gyms. But the weight loss diets like Atkins, General Motors, all liquid diets are of no use for Indians.
Many Indians follow the western diet plans for months and are still no results. This can be very frustrating and almost lose all motivation. Also most diet plans available online are extremely complicated to understand. They do not include Indian food and this problem many Indian taste buds. As most Indians are vegetarians and their preferences are mostly not stay in the diet.
Indian weight loss diet should be customized to the Indian media. It will be very different to a weight loss Western diet because of the different cuisines of India. We also need to adapt to the diversity of the states of India. For example, North Indians eat a lot of chapatis (wheat), which is much healthier than its southern counterpart in India, rice. Breakfast: 2 dosas / 2 idlis / Poha A bowl / bowl a upma / 2 chappatis
Tea / coffee with low-fat milk
Lunch: a bowl of rice / 3 chappatis with vegetables
A serving of meat (30 g)
Sprouts salad
Dinner: 2 chappatis with sabji / dosa idlis 2/2
